Stage 3 : back to the mainland and visit to an oyster farm
The hot pastries waiting for us at 7 am are greatly appreciated, but we have to be quick; the ferry leaves at 8. As soon as they disembark, our participants rush back to their cars and make their way to the oyster farm. They have only an hour and a half to complete the third and final stage of the Photo Trophy.
Our photo trekkers have to produce a photojournalism report about Fromentine’s oyster farms. They wander through these long stretches of water, wood and mother of pearl, and once again impress us with the very high quality of their photos, which we enjoy just as much as David Lecossois’ oysters, served at the lunchtime buffet.
Just a few metres way, an oyster sorting room is temporarily turned into a cinema with a silver screen. As soon as the short slideshow is over, the participants get back in their cars andfollow the Papillon team across theLe Gois causeway before going their separate ways and heading home.
These last photos will be judged the following week and the results posted on our website.
